Resonance: Echoes of Nature was officially launched at Think & Tink Space and remained on exhibition throughout October until 15 November 2025, inviting the public to experience a compelling intersection of art, science and environmental awareness.
The exhibition presented STEAM focused works featuring a diverse collection of community driven artworks, environmental reflections and cross cultural collaborations. It marked the culmination of the Frugal Artists in Residence project led by Dr. Jacey-Lynn Minoi of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, in partnership with Coventry University, and in collaboration with the IEEE Sarawak Subsection and Borneo Laboratory.
The showcased hybrid artworks went beyond aesthetic expression by integrating technology such as augmented reality to enhance audience engagement. Through interactive digital elements, the works conveyed emotions, reflections and aspirations drawn from coastal community experiences, highlighting environmental challenges while encouraging leadership and sustained conservation efforts.
By bringing together creativity, research and innovation, Resonance: Echoes of Nature aimed to spark meaningful conversations and inspire future generations to become responsible stewards of the land and sea. The exhibition demonstrated how interdisciplinary collaboration can strengthen environmental advocacy through the powerful combination of artistic expression and technological integration.
