In conjunction with the global celebration of IEEE Day, IEEE Swinburne Sarawak Student Branch collaborated with IEEE Sarawak and Swinburne Postgraduate Research Society to organize the Inaugural 2021 Global IEEE Day Creative Design Competition for participants from 8 years -17 years old.
They competed in two categories: Junior and Senior, facilitated by Dr Ong Yi Ling and Dr Lau Bee Theng. Advisor of PGRS Dr Victor Bong was invited to share during the opening address. The competition lasted for 5 hours, with 12 winners being selected and announced during the closing ceremony.
