DATA SCIENCE CHALLENGE FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENT
IEEE Sarawak Subsection will be organizing Data Science Challange for Primary School (5 & 6) Student on 20-21 June 2018 (9AM – 5PM) @ Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak Campus. The aim of this workshop is to promote STEM education and activity to primary school student and to cultivate student interest in STEM subjects by walking through processes involved in Data Science to solve real-world problems.
Participants will be directly involved in activities such as :
- learn basic statistics and data analysis,
- performing simple predictive modeling,
- learn to present data using visualization tools and
- participate in Data Science Challange.

ROBOTICS AND HARDWARE PROGRAMMING WORKSHOP FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENT
On a separate occasion, IEEE Sarawak Subsection will also be organizing Robotics & Hardware Programming Workshop for Secondary School Students (Form 1 – Form 5) between 11-19 June 2018 @ Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak Campus. Participants are free to choose to join either one out of three schedules indicated.
This workshop program aims to promote learning-by-doing experience of STEM for secondary school students. The activities provide participants the basic skill and knowledge in Robotics and Hardware Programming.
This free workshop program comprises of three modules. Each participant will be awarded with Certification of Participation upon completing the three modules.
